Your pet's second favourite family.
I'm Alejandra — a lifelong animal person, former cat foster, and the one your dog will absolutely try to move in with. Small-group care in a quiet, pet-proofed Vancouver apartment. Meds, seniors, shy rescues, zoomies: all welcome.
Hi, I'm Alejandra
I grew up surrounded by dogs and spent years fostering cats — the sick ones, the scared ones, the ones who need a week before they'll come out from under the couch. That's the part I'm best at.
Today it's a small, quiet home in Vancouver where your pet gets the couch, the schedule they're used to, and more photos than you asked for. My partner Miguel helps with pick-ups and walks.

Our resident cat is a bit of a brat and completely ignores her guests — which, it turns out, is the perfect personality for a house full of visiting animals. No drama, no territory disputes, no staring contests.
She keeps to her cat trees and vertical shelves, leaving the floor and couches entirely to your pet.

“Our puppies had a great afternoon with Alejandra. So grateful for the last minute request and thoughtful care.”
“It was my first experience using Rover, and I couldn’t be happier. Alejandra and Miguel sent me lots of updates and pictures of Lilo, which made me feel so comfortable while I was away. Lilo looked really happy when I picked her up, and she passed out as soon as we got home.”
“Alejandra has consistently gone above and beyond with my senior dog. I’m so glad I found a gentle, caring and reliable person to watch him.”
